Transforming this Diamond Creek bathroom was about more than just upgrading fittings. It was about bringing a bold design vision to life with architectural textures, timeless tones, and functional luxury. From the outset, our goal was to create a calming space with a striking visual identity, layered with detail and precision craftsmanship.
We installed a fluted freestanding bathtub as the centrepiece. Its sculptural form echoes the vertical lines of the custom ribbed vanity and coordinating above-counter basin. These elegant textures are subtly enhanced by a palette of soft grey porcelain tiles laid in a clean, horizontal stack bond pattern across the walls and floors. The consistency of this layout brings calm and balance, while the depth of the tile surface adds warmth and dimension.
A large round mirror above the vanity introduces a softer geometric contrast and reflects light from the textured glass-brick window, an architectural element that enhances privacy while allowing filtered natural light to pour into the space. Behind the scenes, we waterproofed all wet areas using the WEDI system to ensure durability and peace of mind, with floor-to-ceiling tiling in the shower and splash zones.
In the walk-in shower, a neatly framed niche features white vertical finger tiles, adding a tactile accent and practical storage. Brushed metal fixtures throughout the room, including the dual shower rail system, minimalist mixer taps, and towel accessories, were chosen for their sleek profile and long-lasting performance. The wall-hung vanity keeps the space feeling open and uncluttered, with seamless plumbing and flush-mount power points enhancing the minimalist aesthetic.
Every element in this bathroom, whether functional or decorative, was considered for its contribution to the overall design. While the owner provided the unique glass brick feature, we managed all other aspects of construction including demolition, tiling, custom cabinetry installation, and fixture fit-off.
