We began by re-sheeting with moisture-resistant Aquacheck plasterboard and tiling both rooms in Tundra Ivory Techgrip 600×600 porcelain, laid in a crisp stack bond pattern. In the bathroom, floor-to-ceiling tiling creates a serene, immersive atmosphere. A fully frameless glass screen defines the walk-in shower, built over a Wedi tile-over base. An integrated niche with LED lighting and mitred edges adds both convenience and sophistication, while antique brass tapware introduces a warm, classic accent.
Custom vanities were designed and built in a satin 2-pack finish with shaker profiles, offering ample storage with soft-close drawers and doors. Smartstone benchtops in ‘Imperial Grande’ were mitred with a 150mm drop face and fitted with undermount basins for a seamless look. Under-cabinet LED lighting further elevates the floating effect and brings depth to the cabinetry. Matching antique brass fittings — from towel rails to mixers — tie the entire design together.
The powder room mirrors the material palette, maintaining continuity and elegance. Full-height tiling behind the vanity adds visual impact, while thoughtful lighting design — including wall sconces and under-bench LEDs — creates a welcoming mood. Mirrors were selected to suit both functionality and design sensibility, with allowances made for backlit options.
Lighting and electrical fit-off included Clipsal classic switches, Ecogem downlights, and ceiling-mounted fans for optimal air circulation. Every detail, from grout colour to door hardware, was considered to ensure a flawless finish. The result is a bathroom and powder room that feel bespoke, well-resolved, and built to last.
