We recently completed a sophisticated ensuite bathroom renovation in Alphington, designed to elevate daily rituals with timeless finishes and elegant practicality. The ensuite design centres around clean geometry and understated luxury. Full-height tiling in a soft stone finish wraps the entire room, creating a continuous and calming visual flow. A fully frameless 1000mm glass shower screen encloses the walk-in shower, where a central drain over a Wedi waterproof base ensures both safety and performance. The 300mm x 600mm tiled shower niche, carefully positioned at eye level, adds built-in convenience without compromising the sleek wall lines.
Our cabinetry team delivered a custom 2400mm vanity with 2 Pac Shaker doors and a 40mm YDL Builders rangestone benchtop, complemented by two undermount basins and matching shaving cabinets. The dual wall-mounted mixers and curved-edge mirrors create balance and symmetry, while subtle wall lighting enhances the warm, ambient glow.
The palette is intentionally neutral to highlight the detailing. Softly brushed tapware and accessories including towel rails, robe hooks and toilet roll holder all harmonise with the bathroom’s monochromatic scheme. The in-wall toilet suite is neatly integrated, framed by floor-to-ceiling tiling that unifies the space.
Additional enhancements such as underfloor heating throughout, including within the shower, and concealed power points ensure this ensuite is as comfortable as it is beautiful. The cavity sliding door upgrade further optimises space and flow, connecting seamlessly to the adjacent walk-in robe.
